Indications for Use:

For vaccination against highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), clade 2.3.4.4b, subtype H5N1.

In grandparent, breeder, and layer chicken flocks, as well as turkeys.

Product Description:

Nova Flu Pad 503 vaccine has been developed based on the latest highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) viruses circulating in Iran and the Middle East showing the highest antigenic similarity to the currently circulating field strains in the country. This vaccine contains an inactivated (killed) influenza virus of subtype H5N3, clade 2.3.4.4b, strain A/Avian/Iran/38AMA/2019RG, with a minimum haemagglutination activity of 1024 HAU (≤10 log₂ H5). The viral antigen is formulated with an oil‑based adjuvant to induce a strong and long‑lasting antibody response.

Due to its optimised antigen content, Nova Flu Pad 503 is capable of inducing antibody titres of at least 64 HI units (log₂ HI ≥ 6) three weeks after completion of the vaccination programme. According to the standards and guidelines of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), this level of antibody response correlates with full protection of poultry flocks against highly pathogenic H5 viruses. This product is manufactured in compliance with GMP requirements and the guidelines of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), in the country’s most advanced and only enhanced Biosafety Level 2 facility for poultry vaccine production.

Dosage and Administration:

Administer 0.5 mL (one dose) per healthy bird subcutaneously in the back of the neck or intramuscularly in the breast muscle from 3 weeks of age onwards. A second dose is recommended 3–4 weeks after the first dose.

If required, a further dose should be administered six months after the second vaccination.

Precautions before use:

The vaccination programme must be completed at least 4 weeks before the onset of lay.

Before use, allow the contents of the bottle to reach room temperature and shake thoroughly.

Packaging and Storage:

Packaging: 500 mL bottles (1000 doses).

Storage: Store at 2–8°C (Protect from freezing).
